Default Started to clear my headlights, now what to do. . .

Ok, so I will try and keep this short. I have an 05 ccsb. I started to clear the front lights and boy is it a pain in the I somewhat screwed one of the lights up because it got too hot. I am going to hold off on finishing that because my patience is running thin right now. So first thing is, everyone who has cleared (or painted the lenses) in the nbs cat eye throw up some pics. I need a little push to do it, because right now I can just deal with the orange.

My second front end question is grille related. As far as the grille goes I have painted the bowtie white and that was it. I was planning on getting the billet insert soon, but I got to thinking . What if I painted the chrome piece running horizontally on the grille white. What do you guys think? Make it look something like the 06. Or should I just throw the insert on there and leave it alone. I'm just bored in the garage before I start my new job and my truck is begging to be worked on. There are lots of other things in the works (tahoe handles), but I'm curious what you guys think. I'm open to ideas because I'm right now. I'm going to go have a beer and think about it.

Here is a pic of what the front end looks like now.

Cool. I was heating them up in the oven on 225 and then using a butter knife to loosen up the silicone and pull them apart. The left corner just got a little hot and it doesn't look perfect anymore. To tell you the truth I came up to the computer to get on here and left it in about 5 min too long.

Hang in there man!

I was going to do this on my 07' but just havent had the time/patience yet LOL. But it looks awesome when done.

If you paint your grille white, then paint your bowtie black. That would look sweet.
