what do you mean?? according to various people on the other forum. It is stock.

Sweet ride! I sure miss my Sonoma ZQ8....rare Smokey Caramel color. I somewhat agree about manuals being funner to drive, but GM can't build them for trucks! I've shattered 2 input shafts in my '96 Sonoma, my '99 ZQ8 was on the way out at 38k miles, and shattered the input shaft on my '98 Sierra w/ the 5.0L 305. I have beaten the **** out of my '02 (auto) and got over 217k miles on the original trans......when I had it built, the guy told me I wore the sprags out.

 

well if worse comes to worse, i may just try and find a way to drop in a T5 if i blow this one up.

So far the clutch gives out before the tranny.
