Are you sure those blisters are from removing the moulding or from something else???

Thanks for the comments guys.. I really wish I would've known about this eraser wheel about 36 hours ago. O well.

I kinda like the look of the 1500 badge. I don't think I'm gunna pull it.

(Sorry for the thread jack)What do you guys recommend if the eraser wheel doesn't take everything off? My bro just did this to his truck and there is still a outline of where the molding was. It's not sun fade though. Tried goo-gone and cleaner wax and rubbing compound....

did you try using a buffer? if rubbing compound didnt remove it, then most likely IT IS sun fade.

acetone....i think thats how you spell it lol,, my friends car had that on it after we took his molding off and acetone took it away....its was kinda a yellowish lookin color....

be very very careful with acetone, i have seen it remove clear coat before. i would only use it as a last resort.

3M Eraser wheel.......no substitute. Worth every penny. Get one at your local auto body supply store.

ive used it on a few peoples cars/trucks and they still look perfect...not saying that it wont mess it up, just saying that ive never seen it mess clear coat up....

use it sparingly though just in case....
