I got these euro tails off another member and figured since they were chrome I would smoke them to better match the truck. I did it in one day and they seemed to have turned out decent what do you guys think?
First one is with no flash and the others are with a flash.




I think I am going to do a little more polishing on them but you get the idea.

they look good. how many coats did you apply?

 

3 coats niteshades, 3 clear. With some wetsanding and polishing.

they look great but i woulda gone darker. local law authorities might not agree with me though

 

They lit up with the camera but in person they are actually pretty dark, you almost cant see any red. I would like them BLACK but the cops wouldnt like that.... Although once I get them on and see how the light output is I might go darker. We will see.
