Does anybody have any how-to directions on smoking the rear tail lights?

its very easy

buy some VHT Niteshades, its a spray in a can.
Take off taillight, get some 500 grit wet sand paper
put some water on the sand paper then scuff up the lens, this insures the spray to adhere.

dry lens with rag

put a light coat on, let dry
then put more coats on until you are satisfied with the "shade" of the lens. Just be sure to let each coat dry before applying another.

then do the same to the other.

Depends how dark you go. If you can clearly see the lights during the day when pressed then you will be fine. I have mine done with two coats on em and i can still see the light just fine.

How to candy taillights.--GMFullsize.com You can use the directions here. Just use VHT Nightshades instead of the Testors red.
