I think it would work out well with stock height also...a 275/45-20 would be a little short at stock height, I think that the short sidewall would look out of place unless the burb was dropped about 2/4...just my opinion of course. A 305 would fill the wheel wells nicely, but I'm not sure if it will be too wide to clear...you'd definitely get rubbing with the steering wheel fully turned. I guess that a 295 is an option also...but I still like the 285 idea
Well those are the types of opinions Im looking for. Your truck also helped into my decision making after I searched for hours at a time. Those things are mean in the pictures. Also I calculated my stock height, and I calculated it would look real good. 305/50s are huge, the guy I picked these up from, had upgraded to those. IMO this is far better choice. The 295/45 is another option I was juggling. Overall diameter was little less than our 285/50s. So I said, that would be too small. This is the perfect size IMO. Some 4.30 gears, trutrac and Im rocking and rolling. Should be mounted this week tho. I was told I would not notice a thing with the vmax and the 3.73s with this combo I have now. Im a spirited driver, so Ill see how it goes. I have a serious plan to rear mount turbo this sucker as well & do it right.

I havent seen mine as of yet either. But I do expect them this week before Thu I would guess. You are in TX and they are in TX so you should have received yours already. I have been talking with the guy and he is responsive Mon-FRI. As a matter he said he would get my tracking number today for me.

Ok, Im so excited with the new shoes, its everything I wanted as far as width and sidewall prospective at my height 2wd. I took some better pics to show, that they are not much more bigger than stock from the sides. You may still want the smaller size for your needs. But this is perfect for me. It looks like it will fill the wheel well gaps up nicely.

I have rolled like this for about 4-5 weeks now coming to think about it.

Here is the 20, compared to the 16...
