slammed crewcabs...
i saw a slammed crewcab today. 5/7 with boyd 20s and 35series tires. looked really good, made me want one. does anyone on here have one like that?

Mine is not exactly slammed but it has a 3/5 drop on a 4WD which is as low or a little lower than you are recommended to go. It will give you some idea at least.
Another couple of inches would almost set it right down on top of the tires and you would have about 4" of ground clearance to the lowest point. At least that is what I would have on my truck. The 1500 CC may be a little different ground clearance. The frame would have to be notched and the rear leafs flipped. Drop spindles and coils on the front unless you have t bars then drop keys instead of coils. A 4/6 drop would likely be more practical than a 5/7 and a little easier to do static.
McGaughys only seems to offer a 2/4 kit so you may have some work cut out for you to get a 4/6 or 5/7 drop. The 04 1500 CC at least seem to have welded hangers which is likely why a 4/6 or 5/7 kit is not offered.
