Default Silverstars

I know this is a touchy subject for a lot of you..lights this and that....i have the brightest white silvestars that i think you buy them....i've had them on for a while now...and havn't blown any of them (knock on wood)

My only question is....i drive a 03 silverado.......I see that the bulb is blue...but i never see blue when driving and i dont think others do either....is it just me?

Is the the way the factory projector thingy covers the blue up?

Or do they take a while/hours of driving before they start showing more of a blue tint?

Or do they show blue and im just blind?

no, they are white. the blue tint on the bulb just helps filter out the yellowish light i believe

Man I went on ebay and bought a HID kit for my 05 Silverado its a 03-06 Silverado with the 8000K bulbs man let me tell you I love it. They are so bright and blue they make my Silverstar that I have in the High beams and fog lights look like stock lights.

The kit it completly bolt-in and $230.00 plus shipping. And plus the guys that sell the kits are very helpful and do anything to help you out during installation.

The new Silverstars are 20% brighter, and yes they are brighter. They are like $20 more though.

Here is the link for the HID kit I bought AND I LOVE IT.... They make my Silverstar Ultra look like factory lights.
They are on sale for $220.00 plus free shipping.... Which is a great deal on a HID KIT

From your sig., it doesn't look like you have the projector headlights. The GMC's have that perferated lens too. I wonder how they would look in a clear lens? Did you have to get the resistors for them or did they come with it?
