Default Showering in the sun

So why is it not a good idea to wash your vehicle in the sun?

Direct sun light on a wet vehicle will create water spots on the paint. You can wash a vehicle in direct sun light, just make sure you dry it faster. Sometimes, depending on the angle of the sun, the water drops on the vehicle will act like a lense and create small burn holes in the paint. If you wax your vehicle on a regular basis, water spots will be less harmful for your paint.
