See I think your truck looks good with painted grill just dunno if it would look wierd on a lifted truck or if that should even matter

Your truck looks great the way it is now, If i was going to change the grill up I would put a 03-06 gmc grill in it, with a billet grill. I think they look great and they will fit with the 99-02 bumper.

If it was lowered I'd vote yes to painted grille, as it is looks perfect IMO. The only thing I'd change is remove the ventvisors.

I bought one for 150 new in 2009 for my 1999 I had. Im sure you could find a used one cheaper though. I always thought it looked good and different with the bumper and grill combo.
