Currently i have AR767 steel wheels for my ET streets
i also have a set of AR672 i think both wheels are the same size but it seems that my aluminum ones were pretty light... would i gain anything from swappin to the aluminum ones and ditchin the steelies?

Holy ****!!! thats ridiculous, you ever run wit the 20s? that probably saves you like .2-.3 for the 1/4

i think i am gonna swap to the Aluminum ones or the stock steelies, the ETs and wheels are so fuggin heavy right now, im sure puttin these aluminum ones on will make a lil diff

Put the aluminum ones on. Even if they are like 10lbs lighter, that's 20lbs of rotating mass that you are takin out. That's ALOT! Swap to the alum. ones, no matter what, they will help. I do know this though, stock 16" alum. with MT Drags are light as ****! I would still be using them if I hadn't needed a wider tire in the back. That's the only reason I ordered my Bogarts.
