Default Shocks for stock ride height

i was wondering which shocks to get for a stock height SCSB....i have remove the rear load spring and i do race so i want it to transfer but i also corner a lot so i dont need a real stiff or soft ride....or do i?

Edelbrock IAS shocks have given the biggest gain in nice ride and good handling for sports trucks either lowered or stock trucks. I have recommended them to a lot of people and everyone I know that got them, love them. About $50 a piece thought.
