Default shaving my emblems

hey guys i got GMC and seirra on the back and i got the black accent things on the sides like across the bottom of my doors. I took off the gmc one first and underneath is that black glue **** and i picked all off with my thumb nail. took me about an hour lol. I then tryed heating it up with a hair dryer. that didnt work to well either. I was wondering what kind of soap solution u guys used when doing this. It took me an hour to pick of GMC so im kind of scared about seirra... was going to put this **** called googone on it but was afraid for my paint.

thanks to any1 who can help at all.

peel off all the molding and emblems u want gone first, like with a rag and a flat head. Being REALLY careful. But the glue maybe get a soft spatula from Autozone if u want it done quick. Ya just gotta be easy with those. But for residue and stuff use goo gone and then wash ur truck after and u should be happy with the results

My emblems came off pretty easily with the fishing wire method...there was alot of glue residue though. I used 3M Adhesive remover and the glue came right off...I've heard of guys using WD-40 and Goo Gone also.

It took me like 2.5-3 hours to do the entire truck using only my thumbs.

3m adhesive remover like bluehayes said is the best. Then once there is just a little glueleft clay it and it should look like it was never there.

These things are great. I have one wheel and I have done my crewcab, my Tahoe and a buddys crewcab and there is still enough for one more. Saves time and fingers.
