Looks great also, still a clean look, esp after I color match the plastics

The primer is still wet LOL. Just finished up the body work on the pan, not a month later, before paint, I was hit
i couldnt agree with him more. ive had mine completely shaved, see below. but was scared about getting rear ended, traded my shaved gate for a stock one that was all colormatched plus cash, and cut my pan off and colormatched the plastics. which is exactly what i think you should do, i would do anything to put a shaved gate back on my truck with a bumper.

shaved up

with welded pan and colormatched tailgate

colormatched plastics

are you trying to ask if they make led tail lights in the same housing as the tail lights you have now? no.

if you can find any led tail lights that say they would work on a 99-07 sierra or silverado, they'll work on your truck

Im asking if they make led taillights that look just like my taillights. The same style for a better wording. I know 99-07 will work I just don't like the look of the 99-02 taillight. I like my style better. And I have seen a 2006 vortex max with aftermarket taillights in the 03-07 style.

you could probably take yours apart and put led strips on there yourself lmao, but they dont make led tail lights in that style

so does anyone know if the plastic pieces on the tailgate's actually have screw holding them on or is it double sided tape like everything else. i guess i should specify this question towards the NBS trucks, i have an 02' seirra i'm wanting to take it off of but dont wanna take it off and have body work need done yet. im planning on shaving the tailgate handle along with this but would like to get some insight on this piece first. thanks in advance!
