Default Shave it or not?

i was lookin for some input on shaving my tailgate or not. i can do everything myself so it wouldnt hardly cost anything. ive just never owed a truck with it done but ive done them. is it a pain in the *** when your loading stuff or about the same?

Just have to watch out for the handle since it will stick up slightly. Or modify a obs flush handle to work. If the trucks lifted it might be a pain since you would have to reach in the bed of the truck to open it.

its not lifted and probably never will be. i want to keep my bumper so i wasnt sure how it would look. i might go ahead and do it this coming weekend and after a while if i dont like it im sure somebody would trade. i seen that thread on the obs handles but the guy was talking about sir michaels not wanting to make another kit or something. im sure i could make one myself if i get an obs handle.

mine is shaved.... no trouble getting things in and out of the truck... just use the handle flip kit...

I have mine shaved with a bumper and I like it.. I'll post up a pic here in a sec.. its a stepside though if that makes any difference.
