I know it adds character but i could have lived with a truck without "character" for at least a few months

actually i am pretty much over it now.... it was just the initial shock of it happening.... now i am just like "hell with it.... it's a damn truck" as long as it still drives....

is it just me or is the 4.8 pretty damn nice.... im not saying its a stump puller or anything... but it sure goes

Yea man, that sucks big time. Seems like every one I know has something crappy happen to their vehicle in it's first month. I have a rock chip on my windshield that happened when my truck was less than a week old It's tiny, but it's right in front of me. Less than a year later I backed into a fire hydrant and dented the left rear quarter...wasn't paying frickin attention. Same thing happened to the windshield of my wife's Matrix in it's first month....then a few months later a neighbor backed into her rear bumper.
