The only stepsides that I like are lowered. I'd lower it first before you decide it doesn't look good. Match the mirrors, handles, and if you really want, get the HD front end.

I love stepsides, however, on extended cab trucks i think they look out of place.

and I believe mine is "tastefully modded".

Escalade door handles, HD hood, clear corners, some kind of grille, and slam it atleast 4/6. Call er good! Keep that stepside and paint the rear bumper. Rollpans are over played an a rear bumper makes it look lower.

Because stepside bed cost an extra 1Kish from the factory is probably a contributing factor.

IMO your truck looks great.. I'd spend the money on "go fast" mods

 

for sure sell the wheels 20's look to small id get either 22's or stock LTZ 20's or something close to that. and a 2/4 drop,pacesetters,CAI,100 shot and a tune
