im been looking thru my pics and cant find any close up's of the bottom sides. i can tell you there is a small gap on each side, you cant see them unless you get down real low, because the pan rolls under more on the stepsides.

if i had to do it over again i would have had it molded in

Mine isn't steel, but it's a Street Scene Roll pan. The guy who installed for me even built supports for it.
