Default Removing mirror covers.

So how do you get these things off without bending or cracking them up?
I want to paint my gloss or satin black. Getting rid of the chrome.

Tim, all you need to do is use a flat screwdriver and pry on the covers. You may want to put a piece of cardboard behind the screwdriver so you don't scratch the mirror housing. Just work your way around the covers and pry the tape loose. There are 4 clips that hold the cover on w/ the tape as extra security. You might accidently break a clip removing the covers, they're a PITA the 1st time.
