How do u remove the door panels and tailgate handle so i can get to the handles and paint them.
Are the door panels just find the bolds and unscrew? are any hidden under anything else. With everything being powered is their any wiring i need to watch out for.
with the tail gate is it the screws on the inside of the tailgate? and then the handle will come out

the pannels..... you have to take off 3 screws i believe, then pull up, and it comes off. one of the screws you have to take off the cover thats around the handle insde. another screw, you have to take off your power window panel off, just pull up. you also have to take off the lock/unlock cover, and another cover thats by the sideview mirror. you need to unplug the power window wiring, and there is a small light bulb on the bottom of the door panel. now... to take off your door handle, there are 3 more screws, lol... you will have to search for this, as you will need pics for a better explanation. you might want to do a search for pics as well for the door panel removal... there are write ups on this stuff... good luck. the tailgate handle, you have pull down from the top, and be careful not to break the clamps

Look on the very bottom of the door panel. Remove the screw at the bottom with i believe its a 7mm bolt or 8mm. Then remove the other screw thats by the arm rest part with the same socket.

Next you need to remove the cover that is on the back side of the side mirrors. Just grab the top and slowly pull on it. It should just pop out.

Then you can grab the arm rest on the door panel and pull up. It should pop out of the clips.

I always let the door panel rest on the bottom 2 clips while i unplug the wiring.

You will need to unplug the 2 speakers, unplug the window controls, and the small light in the door panel. Then you can guide it out off the door handle.

sounds like alot of ****... but its actually really easy. removing the door handles is a different topic... you will need a skinny arm to take off 2 of the bolts i believe.

I just saw this; looks like most items have been covered.

I can't stress this enough. Be very careful on tailgate bezel. If u do it wrong, those lil tabs break!!! Ask me how I know. The tabs are so small, in order to do their intended job, so glue has lil to stick to if broken.
