Are you having a hard time getting the actual crank off the post? You may need to go down to your local auto parts store and pick up a handle removal tool. You slide it behind the handle and it spreads the locking clip so you can remove it then your handle.

Thumbs up

you can use a small screwdriver also to remove the little U shaped clip behind the handle, a little more of a pain in the a--, but free. As soon as the clip is pushed off the window cranks shaft it will want to go air born so keep an eye on it.

You dont need any tools, take a shop rag and slide it behind the handle then slide it back and forth like you're trying to shoe shine the shaft that its on, the rag will grab the c-clip and pop it right off. The clip will usually have the open part of the C facing the handle. Takes all of about 3 seconds when you see what needs to happen.
