Does anyone know where I can get a rear chrome bumper for a 2003 Chevy Silverado. The GM Dealers want to rape me for $500. Some guy hit my truck today and put a huge dent into my bumper.

even though shipping costs a crap load, you still save $$$ not going to a dealer. i think i save $100 on a slip yoke that i ordered from them

 

post a thread in the classifieds. i did when a girl hit me. i picked up a new bumper and hitch from a fellow member for 175 buck. still trying to seal the deal though.

 

That's good advice. It just sucks. The guy had no insurance of course. This is the third time this has happend to me in four years. I am just glad it wasn't my Firehawk that got hit.

 

i had someone rear end me in a parking lot the 1st year i had my truck. put a nice dent in the bumper. i was sitting still for about 10 sec, so i have no idea how he didn't see me. i think he was drunk. it happened outside a pub. he didn't want to tell his insurance. he payed out of his pocket. at least i made some money on the deal.

ya, try the classifieds. that is a great idea. i am sure alot of guys have rear bumpers laying around their garage, especially if they installed a rollpan.
