Why raptor liner over plasti dip?

Sanded entire truck with 180 grit and cleaned up with wax and tar remover, used there acid etch primer for bare metal and on the bumper used adhesion promoter .

I tried duplicolor custom wrap which I believe is similar to plasti dip, it turned out great too but I work on my truck a lot and it peeled it too much and they recommend to repaint it fairly often, plus here in Orlando they are always working on the roads getting sand blasted and rocks.

Thanks, I would be curious to see how it holds up over time. We used it in the past on underbody like floor pans and wheel wells but never in a bed or on a top side surface.
