Exclamation Raked or Dropped, Opinions Wanted

Look at the picture of my 95 with the rear dropped and leveled and compare to my Raked look in my Signature picture and tell me which looks best...

Also if anyone knows how much drop would be needed to achieve this look? Part numbers would be helpful.

i take it that picture is photo shopped then? i wouldnt go anymore than a 2/3

just a suggestion but im sure you wouldnt want to but id lose the running boards and bed bars... i think that would make your truck look 10000000000x better and youd be able to go like a 4/6 drop

+1 on the running board removal. If you want to kill 2 birds with one stone then go ahead with a 4/6 and hit a speed bump and it should rip'em right off JFWY

But the do a level drop with those old body styles, it really sets them off

I agree 100%. BTW, your truck looks better with the drop in the back. 2" drop shackles would help you get that look.

you have MUCH MUCH bigger issues to address on your truck before you even think about the suspension.

i personally prefer the raked suspension due to i hate dragging the tail pipes when i haul stuff. but your truck looks better leveled. i agree with everyone and say lose the running boards. the bed bars arent that bad and tint the windows

Definately leveled. And while we're throwing out opinions, yes, I'd also suggest ditching those bed bars and the running boards. Or at the very least the running boards. Just doesn't "flow" with the truck.

make sure you tape this to if you decide to go this road

i think you have a nice platform to work wit i just think you need to clean it up a lil before you drop the truck... do all the free stuff first

That look is about a 4" in the rear.....I have a 3" on the rear of my truck right now put that's a little lower than mine....you can either get lowering springs or hanger/shackle combo. If you lower the front to match then get a 2" drop on that as well.

I agree with most of you, I hate the running boards, but they were on there when I bought the truck. The idiots that installed them at JMC Conversions bolted them to the lower body panels. Now I'm stuck with huge holes everywhere and I can't afford a $3000 paint job, hell I only paid $1500 for the truck. The bed bars are a quick 10 minute fix.
