I think it depends on personal taste. I like the 2 wide stripe deal better than the single with 2 narrow stripes next to it like in the original post.
No stripe is awesome as well.

I think that the stripes have to be done right, spoolin did his well!

Like everything else it comes down to personal preference.

Theres a guy on Ebay with these 3M stripe kits for 50 bucks shipped. I figure at that price I could run it for a while and then if I hated it I could just strip it off.

This one looks good.

I personally like Ghost racing stripes... but that costs money to do and I would imagine that it isnt too cheap.

actually IF you know how to paint, ghost stripes or flames is cheap. its just a pearl , spray one coat for light ghost affect, or 2-3 for a more dramatic affect. ive done it on a few bikes. only used about 60 bucks worth of pearl and clear
