Default Racing stripes Cool or not?

well along with my painted grill, billet insert, and painted top mirrors I was thinking about doing a black racing stripe. It'l be 22" wide like the one in the pic below.

Are stripes in or out?

Are there any photos of trucks with something like this?

are you planning on two stripes or a single one? theres a truck either on here or ls1trucks thats a dull grey color with a single black stripe that ive always liked. theres also a bagged 08 or 09 red rcsb with dual stripes, ill try and find the links

22" fits just inside of the hood line on the 07+ trucks. I am up in the air on stripes. I wish I could see more pics if they were out there.

if your going to do that i would just paint the center section of the hood, a lot of the RGV guys have it done, do some research.
