I can make a 9 second pass on 20" wheels up front so I haven't felt the need to drop the cash on the fronts.

295s will fit better on the rim than the 315s but either is fine.

Got off the phone with Rich, first of all in street and strip wheels they dont offer anything narrower then 17x7 wide

Right now they dont offer any 17x4 skinny front wheels for trucks, not even in 3 peace (race wheels) he said they had had some problems and where redesigning something new for our front heavy trucks

That being said i dont wana wait and will be rocking the 17x7 fronts then

Also, the 315 street radial is discontinued, MT is now making the 295/65 et street SS. My 315s are about fried so I need some new ones, I really want to hold out for the 315 pros

Can someone explain me the difference between the ET STREET RADIAL AND ET STREET S/S? i see they both have the size GMCtrk recommends (295/65/15)

EDIT: Just called mickey thompson and they said traccion is the same, SS was a different/better design for the street specially for wet roads

et street radial is the original...it's around 10+ year old design. Amazing tire.

et street ss is the new version of the old street radial, with redesigned grooves for better wet performance, but same tire compound and probably same dry performance

Et street R is race version of the street radial which is street legal only dry use.

The Et street pro is not street legal

The ET street radial is tested and we know it works, i cant find any hard evidence of someone comparing them with the S/S on the track, my priority is dry traccion on the street and at the track

Anyways they measure the same

I really would like to run the "Sportsman S/R" from mickey thompson on the front, they only have them in 2 sizes in 17":
26x6.00R17LT
28x6.00R17LT

How would a 6 inch tire look on a 7 inch wheel?
