Looks good Bill. Your truck will probably be done before mine. My guy is taking forever. My roof rack and tailgate are shaved though.

estimated finish date is late this week. I did tell the painter I expect no less than perfect and not to rush it. He still has the mirrors to finish and the grill surround too. I have the rental for 2 more weeks so before that!

See pic. It's a boxside or on a car, a quarter panel. Not a rear fender. :

I agree w/. John. No exceptions! D_reks{5.3}, doesn't matter, they're not a sponsor. Bill's tryin to show them he's promotin their biz in exchange for break on price.

Ya, why isn't engine bay covered? Now, body dust will find it's way into engine, blow it up & you'll need a 6L. Another 6L, cause there's no way you're runnin those times on 5.3 still.

no breaks on price, nope but I did shoot the painter (his name is Shannon) a link but don't know if he'll check it out.

In my opinion good painters abound but one that will take his time to do superior quality work is worth his weight in gold.

I'm definitely going to have to clean and wipe down the engine bay, I haven't detailed it in over a year, it needs it.

Ya, I just put that pic of the 98# dent in my photobucket. 1st one from PT.

True, on a good painter takin his time for superior results. Same when people find a tech or a Dr. w/. good bedside manners. Ditto, D.D.S. They tend to want to keep them for life. It's trust & repoire.

Now, fix title or We need a (BAN) hammer smilie!

Your bay is still cleaner than mine, must be the weather. And fact I've never cleaned mine yet. It's an '04.
