as much as i drive, i'll take the little gizmos and gadgets on my DD. once you get used to the A/C and heated seats, blind spot monitors, auto high beams, auto windshield wipers, bluetooth and hands free along with a smooth quiet ride - its hard to go back. hell the truck in my driveway has a built in refrigerator in the center console LOL

Personal preference.... And my 5th gen is almost paid off!!! The parking sensors are very cool, along with most of the creature comforts they have, i just like my 5th gen more than the 6th gens i have driven so far, really got turned off when i had to do the oil pan recall on one..... I dont care for the automatic 5th gens either...

I'm speaking purely from an objective standpoint
The 6th gen is lighter, more powerful/faster, much improved interior, advanced electronics, better headlights (xenon v halogen). Optional npp, mag ride, nav (can be displayed on the HUD - awesome feature).
I will admit that I've read about more issues with the 2016s than id like, but it still wouldn't be enough of an issue to deter me from a 2017.

On paper the 6th gen is definitely a beast, they even have these sweet looking rotor coolers that are a real pain to work around when pulling the subframe out, but and it may just be my particular camaro, i have yet to drive one 5th or 6th gen, that had made me want to come off my car.... Seen a few trucks that have made me give some serious thought to trading it in, but that is going to be a while if it ever happens.... Done with car payments at this point!!!

hold off on buying one a few more months. camaro sales are in the *******. lowest sales numbers since 2010 with the 5th gen was introduced. chevy didnt do enough advertising on the 6th gen IMO. soon they will need to step up the advertising, or start applying rebates and incentives to move inventory.
