they look really cloudy when you do them like that, from what i have done. I would rather mix the color with the clear then layer it until i get the desired darkness, then 2 coats of clear over the mix

We did base and clear mix on mine and the look great. Then like regency said couple coats of clear wet sand then buff. I did my headlights too same way.

probably either HID's or silverstars...more likely than not i would imagine HIDs
