Is it possible to put an 03-04 cluster in an 02??

Is it possible to put an 03-04 cluster in an 02??
I have an 02 Avalanche and would like to put the 03-04 cluster in with the driver information center. I understand I may have to replace the BCM but I just want to know if this would work. I have my doubts...
Can anyone help?
