Default Posing a question...

Ok here is my ordeal, The house I bought has a Laundry room addition to it in the garage thus making it barely able to hold my truck. My question is this...if I install my Belltech 2" drop shackles will it make my truck longer. I know physically it could not be possible but by lowering the rake of the truck would that make it stick out farther? Just a thought posed.....

No, it will be insignificant, like within 1/10 of an inch.

Nope, it would be too small to make a difference.

Thats the problem, as it stands right now I have to pull my truck all the way up until it touches the wall of the laundry room (dont worry I put padding up to cushion) and I have to lightly push on the garage door so that it will clear my rear bumper! Yah, thats how much spare room I am dealing with

But I think I am going to do it anyway. If it fails I will work something out.

Maybe you'll have more luck removing your rear bumper and installing a rollpan.

My thoughts exactly, but I need the hitch to tow my boat and I just don't have the money right now (just put all savings down on the house) to pay for all the things associated with a roll pan. (roll pan, hidden hitch, and the thing that relocates the spare tire, paint)

Maybe in the future....
