Default Polish Aluminized Steel?

Guys, will aluminized steel pipes (http://intakehoses.com/Merchant2/mer...gory_Code=MIE0) polish up at all or is there no point? Doing the intake thing and will either polish and clear it if possible or paint it a gloss black or chrome.

Just putting some of your favorite metal polish on it and working it in a little will really make it shine. If there are some deep scratches, you may have to put some sand paper to it to get rid of them though.

I don't think that will work, that is a steel pipe with an aluminum coating (regular exhaust pipe), the aluminum coating is just to keep it from rusting, I don't think you can polish it.....

The pipes will not shine like alumium, you can scrotchbrite the outside and get it to look brighter but no shine. Why not use aluminum tubing?

I couldn't find 45* 3.5" mandrel bent tubing like in the link, only straight. I guess I should say I haven't found a 45 degree with the same bend radius as the one in the link, plenty of 45's, just with tighter bend radii.

My bad, I read the aluminized as aluminum and skipped over the steel part.

Do you need the metal elbow, if not use a rubber/silicone elbow and some aluminum tubing from these guys http://airflo.com/index.html

Yeah, i need a 45* and 90* rubber elbow and a 45* metal bend. I'm going to look at lunch and see if I can find an AL one with a bend radius similar to the AL-steel one.
