has anyone used this and tried to put some coats of clear over it? i'd like to do some of my interior peices, but i dont want flat black, i want gloss black lol

I think Cuerva's plastidipped wheels would be so BA if they had some gloss to them.

I would also want my bumper bit in gloss black.


I don't see why you wouldn't be able to, if you have everything taped off well/ removed from the rest of the truck. You would think the clear would just go onto the plasti-stuff and would be right off along with it

the reason i like this more than regular black rattle can is how even it goes on, it looks perfect....if clear coat would go over it and bond good it would be perfect for my interior

Stew I can't see that it would either. What's it going be like when you have to clean brake dust off? What do you use to clean the rims.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most stock rims come with some coating on it, and you'd have to remove it to get the PlastiDip to stick?

Got bored yesterday and finally did my OEM rims. Pretty happy with the outcome, still think I will eventually get them PC though..

i did my frame and box wheel wells this weekend, hopefully that keeps the salt from the winter makin rust

i have plastic dip on my 06 chevy hd grille... been thru car wash and been on for 2 weeks no promblems yet with it..
