Wasnt really sure where to put this but anyway, For all you guys that have A pillar pods for guages. I just removed my dual pod and installed my Triple pod for my wideband, my question is on the stock a pillar there is that tab on the top that holds it into the metal clip well mine no longer wants to hold very tight. What is everyone doing to correct this? With my triple autometer pod attached over the stock one the pod stays tight via the push tabs that autometer provides however the stock pod doesnt want to stay clipped in tight...... Any ideas...

 

Yup, I have the same problem and I was thinking of getting a new clip and trying that.

 

Well I though about removing the clip and bending the tabs tighter however the plasic tab on the stock pillar is what appear to be messed up...

 

I removed the clip and bent the tabs tighter and it didnt help at all. The plastic tab is shot.... Need to find another way to hold it tight.

 

I had the same issue, my plastic tab actually broke off and had to be epoxied back together. I hope I never have to take it off again or I will most likely be replacing it.
The tabs and what holds them to the stock pillar are flimsy as hell.
If you find a solution post it up.

 

Under the autometer pillar I put a screw through the stock one into the metal next to the door. It is holding up great and you can't see the screw.

 

I didnt dave to do anything on mine and I have had no problems. Its nice and sturdy. I think 02blue's idea would work best for you.

 

I did the same thing earlier today, cant see the screw and it holds it tight. I got the idea from TimZ however I wanted to try a couple other things but no luck so I said SCREW IT....
