sweet lookin truck you got there bud.

btw if your lookin to get rid of the gap in the front run the 2500HD inner fenders, i noticed yours is a 1500 HD... is your frame the same height as a 2500HD? the 2500HD inner fenders are taller than the 1/2tons cause the frame

i was thinkin it was a 3/4 ton, did 1/2 hd's have 8 lug wheels?

As far as I know frame height is the same

It is a heavy 1/2 ton,but suspension is different. The is frame the same and it is 8 lug

A 1500HD has the Same frame as the 2500HD and 3500 from the front Frame horns to the rear axle. At that point it swedges down to about the size of the 1500. The frame heights on the 1500HD and the 2500HD are the same, but the 2500HD has the body mounts, mounted higher on the frame, making the body about 2" higher. The 1500HD also has the same running gear as the base model 2500HD (LQ4/4L80E) I think it's safe to call it 3/4 ton. My drop kit is for a 3500.

so if he wanted to he could run the 2500HD inner fenders up front and it would be like when the guys run the on a 1/2 ton with a body lift instead of the gap guards?
