Thanks guys, first off I am pretty proud since I have done everything myself to date. The swap has been a bit tougher than I hoped but mainly on the motor mounts. The ones you can purchase either interfere with the AC brackets or the exhaust manifolds. I have went round and round but think I am close I am using the corvette manifolds I understand they flow much better and very close to headers.

I will post more pictures but I did go with all the chrome it is on and I was close to completion but my first motor blew up that is how I got where I am today. The weight is close to 4000 pounds I think but I will do some more checking. Allen Nelson is modifying me a computer as we speak. for now it is stock due to funds (donations accepted ) I have removed the fan, added a shift kit and a TB converter.
1blown04 let me know how yours goes. I was kindof cheap (out of money) so I am trying to use what I can so it might have been easier if I had more funds. I think it is going to be well worth it in the end.
Thanks for the compliments
Dave

Well I took the easy way out and bought a harness from Painless. I built one for my TPI install previously but decided I wanted this one quicker so. It will be engine and tranny only I will worry about gages and the rest on my own.

Very cool! I really like the 67-72 body style too! We'll all be excited to see more pics when you get a chance.

I had a good buddy in high school that had a 1970 with a 72 front end. I had soooooooo much fun in that truck. I love that body style. Post up some pics and keep us up dated.... . .
