The drop was originally 4" 6", but after a while I ended lifting it about an inch and half in the front with some spacers. 4 6 is just to low for these things with the crossmember that low.

Nice truck! It looks pretty sweet. It's also cool to see that SS bumper on a 99-02 Silverado.

Some questions Answered:

The wheels are 18x8 Boyd Stingrays with a backspacing of 5 1/2" and the tires are Yokahama 255 55 18. They are ok tires but have no grip on them at all. But they do have a decent life on them.

Yeah they are vette emblems that I put on the doors. I put them on becuase I heard they give you an addititional 10rwhp..... I think I might take them off soon. It just makes the truck not look so plain.

Yeah I get good and bad remarks on the gas door also. My g/f bought me this one cause she liked it and she now thinks it doesn't look good. The reason why I liked this one was because it is brushed aluminium and it does give it the shiny gay look. The one thing I hate for sure is that it still has the dip to open the old gas door... I might end up putting the other one on.

I was thinking about a ram air hood, but really only wanted an SS style hood. I can not find one at all. I know that Goodmark makes sort of an SS style hood... but it just doesn't look the same as the SS hood. Anyone know where to get one?

Paint the billet gas fill door to match the truck. It would give you that race look with standing out too much. Then in the future you could fill or bump out that dip for a flush look. Just an idea.
