The Radio lives!!!!!!! and it still works too.


I need to wait till dark to see how it looks for sure, and adjust the input voltage for brightness. I will move on to the driver side window/lock switch and maybe the headlight switch if I don't kill someone before then.

you know i was talking to some guys that i work with. they are avionics electritians (for the navy) that is there sole job in life and they wont touch these led conversions with a ten foot poll. so i give you props you, are skilled at what you do.

I would attempt it myself but I dont ahve a solder gun and the one I want is about 120 bucks and I dont know **** about resistors so.........

I finished the radio and went to plug it in for the tenth time, and or course the last and final time I do it doesn't work......

So, I'll be taking it apart again today and inspecting it to see whats wrong. I did power up the display part only, and it does look very good. So if I can't get it to work today I'll light it up and show you guys what it will look like when it does work.

I did do the driver side window/lock switch, and installed it looks sweet.

The radio is in and working!!!!!
(I just blew a fuse, thats all)

There are no dead or uneven spots like it looks like in the pics, I don't know why the camere makes it look that way?? It looks perfectly even in person!!!!









And now I'm going to start the AC controls tonight

You need to backlight the cluster the same way
