Nope, the stock Generals were 30.1" tall. The Toyos are 29". That's the smallest I would go on a mostly stock suspension truck. Any smaller and it would look funny. I can actually feel a difference in acceleration due to the shorter tire height. Thanks for all the comments!

I've got the Toyo Proxes ST in 275/70-16 on the rear and 245/70-16 on the front...all w/ a 2/4 drop...
I didn't think the 60's would fit right on the narrow stock wheels, but I guess I was wrong...
went to the 245's after the drop when the 275's started bottoming out...

Yeah, I thought the stock wheels were not wide enough also. Toyo's website recommends at least a 7.5" wide wheel. The stock wheels are only 7" wide. After reading posts on PT.net about people fitting 315's on stock wheels, I thought I would be OK. No problems so far... (knock, knock)

Actually, the 275/60/16 are supposed to be 29" tall, BUT, put a tape measure to them and at least mine are only 28" tall. There still a great tire if you ask me

It's funny you mention that. Before I bought my truck, I was a huge fan of white cars and trucks. I have a 1978 Z28 (which recently retired from its daily driving duties) that was ALWAYS easy to keep clean because it's white. I wanted a black truck because black shows off how well you take care of your vehicle...and it looks the best when clean. I gambled when I bought the truck and I think I won!!
