i didnt really buy it with the intent of doing this to it. was looking for something good to put **** in and tow a trailer and all that. well now i dont pull a trailer but it still gets loaded up with a bunch of stuff and then i cruise around on bump stops haha.

this goes to anyone wantin to lower a new body long bed. the frame is a lot different and MCG didnt even know if the kit would work or not on it. obv the frame is longer but its much taller at the axle area. with nothing in it i have about 1 inch of travel. just sitting on the tailgate puts it on the bump stops

have you thought about putting in a c-notch to give you a little more travel?
