Mine had slight surface rust on them so I sanded them down and sprayed them flat black. I think the rust may be from salt/snow on your boots, if you live in a place that gets snow.

Weird. I know the roads get a lot of salt when I go home. Maybe I have weird shaped feet that somehow spit more water on the pedal arms. FYI, I wear Lakai shoes, or bunny boots, depending on how cold it is.

After I repainted them, I haven't had any rust come through. And that was a few years ago.

99, but it sits for half the year so maybe that has something to do with it.

Yep, mine look like that too. I'm going to sand them down and hit them with some POR-15.

Dozer,

Got the gauges from EBAY, they seller was US Speedo so they have a business outside of EBAY too. These are the Blue faces Silverado SS gauges, got the entire cluster with the correct mileage programmed in. I forget how much, I wanna say like 300 and an extra 25 for programming the mileage.

My pedals have rust on them too. Some dude at the tint shop asked me if it was a salvaged flooded truck. I said I hope not cuz I bought it brand new in '04 lol.

Mine are like that but not quite as bad. Looks like they cheaped out and used some crappy steel with no galv. and no coating. I'll prob sand them down but I don't know about spraying inside my truck?? guess it'll be time to bust out the tape and plastic to mask everything off.

How hard is it to remove just the lever?? Too much hassle??
