i honestly think that color makes that look good. i dont think it would look good in white or red or some other bright color. it would prob look good on black, the darker metallics, and silver. thats about it imo

Silver-mod-o is right. I used to have a roll pan and shaved tailgate but the guy that originally did that body work for me hacked it pretty bad and after about 8 months it was already rusting. To top it off, about 3 months after the work was done, I stopped by Wal-Mart which I hate to do in this truck, and sure enough, a cart smacked into the back of it and dented/scratched the roll pan, tailgate, and tail light.

I agree, I don't think a brighter or lighter color could pull it off quite the same way black or charcoal can. I'm not even sure if blue or green would look the same either.

Thats the same size as mine then.. thats hat I was thinking... I want to go 3/5... a 4/6 is almost too low static in a NBS ext cab because of the wheel base. Thanks for the info man.

i think pewter would look good and i think i have seen it painted before. i am not sure if Chago (crewcabondubs) had that painted on his 03 gmc scsb truck. i just remember him having the pads on the side of the sportside bed painted to match along with the factory tg cap.

I painted all the gray pieces on my pewter truck:
around the mirrors / tailgate cap / bed caps / bumper pad
it turned out pretty sweet for not sanding them
