Default Painted my CAI tube

I got bored waiting for a couple of covers to show, so I painted a couple of things. The first is my old hard hat, and the other is my Volant cold air tube. I've got other plans for the tube and my covers though, I just painted for now. Also painted an SS bowtie for one of my SS buddies.

Those are beautiful. Just seeing the link I expected a rattle can high school shop class job, but that is awesome.

Thanks guys, but yeah, it's not a rattle can. It's some high quality PPG 2021 clear coat. That's the only thing I use when clearing all of my work, and believe it or not, its only two light coats of clear. I didn't want to spend the time to cut and buff, and add another light coat and then a wet coat, but it would have been to shiny to take a pic. Now, the SS logo has three coats on it, and it's flawless! Smoother than a babies behind! LOL

Here's a close up shot of how smooth the clear coat is.

Beautiful. One thing I would have changed though, I don't like advertising for people. I would have painted the tube and not put the "volant" on. But that's just me.......

Irrelevant. GM did not make the tube therefore you wouldn't be using it in the first place.
