If your going to order them from a Tahoe for your truck on the passenger side of the truck you can install a rear Tahoe handle, It wont have provisions for a key or key hole. Something different and its a tad cheaper

i have the white handles. got the part number from the dealer for a white z71 tahoe. i ordered from sdpc, $25 for the Pass, and $34 for the driver handle. the driver's was more because of it having the lock. took 20 mins to install, just popped the door panels unbolted the handles (3 screws) and your done.

Thanks a lot for the replies it really helped me out a lot. I think I'm gonna go with sdpc. Then again, how much of a hassle is it to paint them myself? I haven't got access to special equipment or anything. I'll probly end up buying them because I'm too lazy to paint them anyway but I thought I'd ask just incase. Oh yeah and can I buy a painted tailgate handle too or will I have to get it done?

I just ordered my handles already painted. For the few dollars different in price, it wasn't worth it to buy the ready to paint and then have someone paint them.

The tailgate handle, there are only a few colors you can get them in, but they are not smooth, they are still textured. I sanded my handle and bezel down the other day. It took a little while, but it is nice and smooth now. I know some have used duplicolor rattle cans and it has come out nice. Mine will be painted professionally as I have a few other things getting down at the same time.

If you do plan on doing them yourself make sure you use an adhesion promoter otherwise they will chip and flake off.
