Personally, a satin black, AKA semi-flat black would look best. Closest to OEM. Or if you can, get some trim black from SEM.

i think im going to try the semi and see what it lookes like, were can i get the trim black from sem?

At most auto paint supply shops. Or you can order it online. Just Google SEM paint, and take your pick where you want to buy from.

Love the car! My first car was a 1978 Camaro Type LT. I actually still have it and I never plan on selling it. I painted my grille and bezels with a semi-gloss finish and I thought it came out perfect......very close to OEM. I don't remember the name of the paint company though. Take care of the car! 2nd generation F-bodys are getting more and more rare. It's only a matter of time until the late 2nd gens ('78-'81) start appreciating in value.

My parents are trying to sell it unless i can find a job and i cant witch sucks and am still looking im going to do semi on mine
