Painted Dash (photos)
#1
Finally got around to getting this thing painted and in. Overall I think it looks good, but I will probably have it professionally sprayed in the future because i'm a perfectionist and painting in a home garage = not perfection. Anyway, it is two-toned like my truck is (indigo top, storm grey bottom) and looks pretty good, at least to me.
Here are the photos I have (A-pillers still not installed)

I am most impressed............. I will be taking my whole dash out in a few weeks here. I am glassing it and then painting it dark green. Hope mine turns out as good as yours cuz I am doing it all myself.

haha
I had just driven 3 hours back to school in it so bugs were everywhere
It did get washed today though and is 100% better. I also used some 3m perfect-it on the dash and it looks a lot better since it removed more of the hazy look i created from wetsanding imperfections. To answer the other question, its not a cover, its just the stock dash that I sanded. Started with 60 (yes 60 grit) followed by 120 - 220 - 220 wet - 320 wet - 400 - white filler/sealer - 400 wet - 600 - paint - clear - 1500 - 3m perfect it
