sand it, spray adhesion promoter, prime it, paint it, than clear the **** out of it! I just done mine this week, worked better than i thought it would!

+1. I painted mine myself and it turned out surprisingly good! I don't have a lot of patience either. Much cheaper!

not paint but vynal wrap. stronger than paint and if i want, i can go bak to the chrome.
