Default Paint is Done!!

Not as nice as I was hoping for but not as bad as I feared, the spoiler, rollpan, hood and mirrors are painted and looking good.
The truck is a mess and it's going to stay that way until next week, when I'll be able to clean it up.

What are you not happy about? Only thing that catches my eye is the spoiler may be a bit lighter then the rest but it could be the lighting too since that color changes with lighting conditions.

Little details. When the mirrors are folded in there is a thin spot on the right side, black shows, but i'm being really picky. The spoiler matches pretty well, as much as it's ever going to, yeah this color is weird how it changes from silvery-goldish.
30 days at paint leaves a sour taste....

I like it better all matching for sure.

How long did your paint guy say to wait before putting some wax on the new paint? I would suggest 30-60 days.... Btw i think it looks great!

Yeah, he said to use polish and not any sealant or wax for at least 30 days. All I plan on doing is hand washing it. The interior needs a good going over too.

It's like a dream going from the rental Mazda up into the cab of the truck.

silver is like that in some pics catch the sun on a angle makes the finish look off,
look at the one with the mirror, then look at the next pic

I used glaze on all my fresh paint jobs, it is non-abrassive. The only problem with it is that is washes off with water. You might be meaning the same thing when you say polish.
