I have had one in my 2002 for two years. One year with my system, and it's like new.
I also have one in my 1989 Silverado. It's been in for 4 hard years I think It will last another 1.5 years but that's it.

I switched to a red top because my stock battery wasn't reliable...now I don't think twice about leaving my car on with the lights, stereo on either...

Dude.. what happened to that group purchased we had planned....?
These batts are made to be discharged and charged thousands of times in their life. Doing this to a normal batt shortens its life considerably. Also, the deep cycle's have way more reserve capacity=you can run your system for longer without turning on your car to charge the batt's. How much did you pay for it btw?

I can confirm that. My system can play for about 20/40 minutes until the you can hear a noticeable change in the sound, the less power your battery has the shittier the system sounds. Also, I can turn my truck on for a few seconds and rev it a few times and the battery is fully charged! AMAZING!

With the 3 year red top warranty and the fact that I have 2 of em, I'm never gonna have to buy another battery again. And they aren't prorated warranties, they are replacement warranties.
